WOTW – 23

This week we will go back to the print. Website I would like to talk about is not well coded, doesn’t have any feature even that the navigation is pretty much horrible. What is the really interesting about this website is the content – dear fellows lets have a brief look at the officialclassic website.

Who looking for something similar will probably sooner or later find it – for me it was the accident. I researched black and red website and found this.

Most of the graphics are combination JPGs and GIFs which are not very well exported and website looks much more like a big poster rather than website. Moreover navigation is absolutely out – nicely said.

Event the useless navigation rest of the website is well organized and structured. Apart from these small usability issues the website itself has enormously great quality of illustration and inspiration for visual graphics.

And this is the another things – if you are great graphics designer be a graphic designer from the begin to the end and one time you decide to go multimedia way – ask your self twice if you really want to go this way because your graphics are not going to look that pretty – because it has to be functional first and shiny at secound.

Finding the balance between quality and beauty is everyday battle where you shoud be one who is going to win. Have a will and courage.
