St. Bridge Evening

Every year St. Bridge Library presents couple of events dedicated to books, design and typography itself. One of my colleague from Czech Republic

(typographer and type designer in one person) invite me to this event to share and enjoy the real atmosphere of typographic conference call Revival.

Even we had just a moment it was valuable for all of us. From many point of view. It’s always interesting to know who is behind the type. Who’s creating, manufacturing and presenting these beautiful typefaces that we use on daily bases. What is the life of the type itself, what is the behind the scene …

Personally I was surprise how fresh and wide is this community. From professional perspective – it was curios, even they are “competition”, they share, educate and support each other. More than that thy challenging and testing them self in funny way.

London at these days become more hectic and busiest than before. Find the relevant enthusiastic group of designers or typographers is almost a small mission. After this wonderful evening I was satisfy and convinced to joint them next time on coming event hosting by St. Bridge Library.
