FONT – Discussion

One of the good Graphics Design periodic Magazine in Czech Republic gave an opportunity to discuss published stories and articles in online version of FONT Magazine.

One of my colleague presents his work and Brand Direction as a creative process  which I have been part of it. I have contribute as a external consultant for graphics user interface of application Altworx.

“As already was mentioned by Lukas, I could be count as a one of the team which has an opportunity to cooperate on Altworx application. In that case I would like to contribute and give you an feed back.

The quality is prove by time

To person who said: “that application doesn’t work on white background as well as someone who count average of quality as a quality measure”

I saw some comments about readability and quality of logotype used on white background as well as counting average of the quality. The quality is prove by time. If some graphics designer say 10/10 and feedback on whole presentation is none – we probably say – it doesn’t work. And all his talent is waste in wrong direction.

… ranking is subjective

And the question of average itself? Because this ranking is subjective, no matter how many guide lines you have done so far, 1 or 100 your experience grow along side creativity, but it not necessary mean that you grow in particular field. What I’m trying to say is there is tiny line between real quality and usefulness this particular work.
Lukáš found great balance between readability and usability which is adorable. Logotype is well presented in brochures, all prints materials as well as animatoin even UI which is estimating.

team is flexible …

Objective review gave us space to move forward in many stages. I’m sure there will be more space to expand this collaboration in detail. Altworx team is flexible and open to new ideas and experiments which give us enough space for experiments and quality of work we provide.
