Choose right magazine …

Hello guys – its good to be back again. As you probably recognized we have some small approval on interface as well as   optimization on all of the content with simplifying focus to main categories. More over that I’ve upgraded to WP 2.7 which is quite good change / approve.

In today article I’d like to focus on choosing right magazine for next season 2009 without spending a lot of money as I did last year. There is couple of good offers around so it can be helpful if you think about a gift or educate yourself to spend money – right way.
Actually I’m UK based designer so it would be great start with UK provided magazines. The mostly recommended magazines in UK are magazines provided by myfavoritemagazines.co.uk  – company Future Publishing based in lovely hippie city called Bath Spa in South West. First magazines is Computer Arts + Projects. Each recent issue review up to date information from different creative subject. Issues is covered by themes such as print design, web design, typography, packaging, creative advertising, and final how manage your own design business. More over you’ll find great step-by-step tutorials and tips from the best digital artists, showcases, up-and-coming talents and established creatives.

Another magazine is .net Magazine is the world’s best-selling magazine for web designers and developers, featuring tutorials from leading agencies, interviews with the web’s biggest names, and agenda-setting features on the hottest issues affecting the internet today. Last magazine from this publishing is al Camera Magazine – each issue is packed with great line of images, expert techniques and essential tips for capturing great images.

France based design magazines that I’m reading are etapes which I really like. The consistency and international range of audience is inspiring. I like the way how they written about the typeface and make reader interesting from begin to the end. In fact that France language is my thirds language that I’m really passionate about – but still learning is not that easy to read everything in one breath – over that is still enjoying. Another inspiration could be occasionally creabook or finally designflux that you can check online.

My Japanese favorite based magazine is idea-mag that I mostly liked for they typography feel and touch as well as reviewing design heroes from all around the world. IDEA become my favorite magazine several years a go and until now    I’m still become a fan. Another magazine from Japanase line is us81 which is absolutely opposite look and feel as previous one. This magazine is totally HI-End and up to date design and typography. Informatics designer and UI designer will love it.

Finally Czech based magazines are magtypo and font that probaly English target audience don’t know. But for sure thay should check it out – there is a good line of designer as well as quality of stories and technics connected to world typography (in both languages EN/CZ). Last magazine that I would like to mantioned about is G4 – it had a lot of recommendation before I grab first issue and after that I can’t simple get rid of it.
